Anthropic's product announcements list Expanding Claude for Nonprofits on 26 October 2026. The post says the Claude for Nonprofits plugin is a set of skills and connectors built with about 30 nonprofits. It is installed automatically for nonprofits on Team and Enterprise plans, at no additional cost. The post says to start by asking Claude to map where the organization keeps its information, because the other skills read that map.
The skills the post describes cover marketing (a campaign sized to the team, a voice, and a second read), hiring (a job post, an interview guide, a scoring rubric, a first 90 days, and answers from a handbook), and board work (a skills gap, outreach, an orientation packet, and a meeting deck). A separate check answers "Can I use Claude for this?" from the organization's own AI policy. Fundraising skills research donors, foundations, companies, and open grants with sources cited, break down an RFP, draft proposals and grant reports from the organization's own material, and prepare a brief, a thank-you, or a stewardship plan.
Who it's for: a verified nonprofit on a Claude Team or Enterprise plan that wants those workflows in Claude.
Fits: Best for Writing stays Claude for a long draft. This plugin is a set of nonprofit workflows on top of that product. The writing verdict is unchanged.
