fal's 19 October 2026 announcement (opens in a new tab) says FLUX 3 Max is available on fal's API. fal Research post-trained it with Black Forest Labs on the FLUX 3 foundation model. The product page says text-to-video and image-to-video run at 720p, and that a 10-second video takes 12.45 seconds. It reports a preliminary Artificial Analysis image-to-video score of 1,139 Elo, with a confidence interval that overlaps the leaders. MiniMax H3 is listed first on that board at 1,141. Through 7 November 2026 the page prices 720p at $0.0425 per second of output video, against a list price of $0.17. Black Forest Labs lists the same model as a 10-second video in 12 seconds.

Who it's for: developers and teams generating video through fal's API.

Fits: Best for Video, as a model you call. Runway stays the first pick when the job is finishing a shot with camera moves and inpainting. Best for Images is unchanged: Flux's rank there is still about image prompt adherence, and this is a video model.
