Mintlify Autopilot opens doc updates as pull requests

A beta agent on Pro and Enterprise watches the repo and surrounding tools, drafts a doc change, and opens a pull request. It does not publish on its own. Each PR it opens or updates costs 250 credits.

Mintlify's 20 October 2026 post puts Autopilot in beta on Pro and Enterprise plans. It reads the code and the context around it, drafts a documentation change when something moves, and opens a pull request for a person to review. Mintlify says it does not publish on its own. It tags reviewers and emails them. Nothing ships until someone merges.

It connects to repos and, depending on the plan, to Slack, a project tracker, support tickets, and feature flags. Pro connects GitHub and Slack. Enterprise can connect the wider set. Mintlify describes three triggers: a merge, a support question that keeps coming in, and a Slack thread that flags a mismatch. It learns tone from the pull requests the team reviews. There is no prompt to maintain. Each pull request it opens or updates costs 250 credits. A run that finds nothing to update costs nothing.

Who it's for: a docs team whose product changes land in git faster than the docs site.

Fits: Best for Writing stays Claude for prose you are drafting yourself. Autopilot maintains a docs repo. Best Agent Builder stays n8n. The verdicts are unchanged.
