Claude Enterprise adds inference hooks and a security center

Prompt and pre-tool-call hooks are generally available for Claude Enterprise. A security center compares settings with Anthropic's recommendations.

Anthropic's 5 November 2026 post adds security and admin controls for Claude Enterprise. Inference hooks are generally available. Prompt hooks send prompts from supported Claude products to the organization's security tool for a check. Pre-tool-call hooks check tool calls before they run. Anthropic says the organization keeps the policies it already wrote.

The same post describes a security center in Organization settings that compares chat, Cowork, and Claude Code settings with Anthropic's recommended configuration. Anthropic says that page is guidance, not a certification or a guarantee of compliance. Admins can sign a member out of Claude with one Admin API call, ending sign-in sessions without removing the person from the organization. Admins can also manage an IP allowlist themselves. Anthropic says an endpoint sensor inside the Cowork virtual machine on a user's computer is in beta, and that the post lists other beta exceptions.

Who it's for: a Claude Enterprise admin who needs company policy on prompts and tool calls, or one page that shows how Claude is configured.

Fits: Best for Vibe Coding stays Cursor. Claude Code stays second. These are organization controls, beside the editor and the terminal agent. The Claude Code alternatives and the coding guide are unchanged. The verdict is unchanged.
