GPT-6 brings Intelligent UI to ChatGPT
ChatGPT can now mix text with charts, buttons, and small tools in one reply. Paid chats use GPT-6 Sol; Free and Go use GPT-6 Luna.

OpenAI's announcement, dated 7 October 2026, says GPT-6 with Intelligent UI is rolling out in the Chat tab. The model can answer with text, visuals, and interactive pieces such as graphics, buttons, forms, and charts, and it can start the reply while it is still working. Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise chats use GPT-6 Sol. Free and Go use GPT-6 Luna, with that rollout starting the next day. Enterprise access depends on the workspace admin. OpenAI says the models behind Work and Codex are not part of this release. The Pro reasoning option still uses GPT-6 Astra and does not include Intelligent UI.
Who it's for: people who want an answer they can click around in, not only a paragraph. A finished essay is still a writing job.
Fits: Best for Writing. The interactive replies also touch Best for Research when the question is a comparison or a chart.
