Mistral Studio adds managed agents, workflows, and apps
Studio can run agents you define, workflows with approvals, and apps you deploy. Mistral's notes mark managed agents as a public preview.

Mistral's 5 November 2026 post expands Mistral Studio with managed agents and apps, and with further workflow, enterprise-context, observability, and evaluation features. The post says an agent investigates and acts, a workflow coordinates steps and approvals, and an app is how employees use those systems. You connect a model such as Le Chonk to enterprise data through connectors and MCP servers. Deployment can be in Mistral's cloud, in your own VPC, on-premises, or a mix. You choose which actions need a person's approval. The post says interrupted workflow runs can resume, that a process can be described in Mistral Vibe and turned into a workflow you can inspect and edit, and that event triggers and a visual graph are part of this release. Apps can be tested locally and deployed with one command.
Mistral's release notes (opens in a new tab) for the same day mark Managed Agents as a public preview. The notes say you define the model, instructions, tools, and environment once in the Agents SDK, then run that code in your process, self-host it, or deploy it with Mistral. A deployed agent can run for hours or days and resume from its last finished step after a crash. HTTP API connectors are listed separately as a private preview.
Who it's for: a team already on Mistral Studio that wants agents and workflows next to company systems, with a person still approving sensitive actions.
Fits: Best Agent Builder stays n8n, then LangGraph, then Dust, then CrewAI, then Relevance AI. Studio is an enterprise platform with a code SDK and a hosted deploy. The list stays with the workflow tool a team already runs. The agent builder guide and the n8n alternatives are unchanged. This note does not add Mistral to that list. The verdict is unchanged.
