Perplexity's teammates post describes agents for ongoing work inside Computer. On 5 November 2026 the company said they are available now for Max subscribers on the web. They use your Computer tasks, skills, memory, and tools, can work with other teammates, and can message coworkers in Slack.
Who it's for: a Perplexity Max subscriber on the web who wants an agent to keep a job moving inside Computer, and who will still review the work.
Fits: Best for Research stays Perplexity for an answer with links you can click. Teammates are an ongoing agent inside Computer, beside that sourced answer. The research guide and the Perplexity alternatives are unchanged. Best Agent Builder stays n8n. This note does not add Teammates to that list. The verdict is unchanged.
